My plans to write a chapter a day fell apart last week. My symptoms got progressively worse and I had to return to the doctors. I was ordered to lie down and do very little so I couldn't write. I'm really sorry for not writing sooner. Unfortunately I've come down with Labyrinthitis, which has meant I've been very dizzy, nauseas and tired for the last two weeks. As of yet I still don't know when or if I'll recover. Which has meant I haven't been able to write because being on the computer makes me feel worse. I have tablets now to help ( Read more... )

I am progressing slowly with the first book in the novella series. I've written up a brief synopsis, which has allowed me to add a few more pages to the first book. A while ago I had an idea to do a series of mini-novels (I believe these are referred to as novellas). I sort of liked the idea of how a novel is equal to a film and a running series of novellas was more like a TV series, each novella representing a weekly episode. I took a couple of weeks off from writing, as I had a little holiday from home. During that time I did write out a fairly detailed synopsis of Voume V of "Soul Mates" which I hope to begin work on in the next few weeks. It all came out really fast and I was surprised by how much of the details I already had floating around inside my imagination ( Read more... )

I have now officially ended all work on "Olimpia Valley". Both today and yesterday I added 4,000 words to the additional pages I was working on, with the today's 4,000 completing the work. Now I have to sit back and let the book breathe for a month or two before I open it up and start work on the re-write. Until that time this should be the last ( Read more... )

Another 3,000 words added today. I've just realised I may have a little bit too much additional information to add. I've written about ten more pages so far and there's still a big chunk left to wriite.
